Ever read a wiki and think, “Duh, I could have written that.” Well, this post is not for you.  As a matter of fact, if you’ve ever thought that, then go screw yourself.  This post is for people who read a half a wiki and get distracted by pics like this.  If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour… wait, there’s no way that thing is going anywhere.

Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc, are you trying to tell me that my mother has got the hots for me?
Dr. Emmett Brown: Precisely.

What was I talking about? Oh yeah, Again But Slower is basically a wiki for people like me…

Wikipedia’s a great resource for learning more about complex or esoteric subjects, but sometimes the dense, insider language can be a bit off-putting. Free mashup tool Again, But Slower compares original Wikipedia entries with their simplified re-writes.

Those rewrites come courtesy of Simple English Wikipedia, a site with over 59,000 Wikipedia articles written for those at early stages of English learning or otherwise needing scaled-down encyclopedic articles. Again, But Slower simply shows those entries and the original Wikipedia entries side by side, allowing you to learn how complex scientific terms and other phrases are being used, and getting a possibly faster-moving read on a subject you need to catch up on.

Well looky here, we have actually been accepted, and now available in tho Kindle store on Amazon. This all came up as I got my wife a Kindle 2 for mothers day. The approval process takes some time, but I guess they liked me. Of course now everyone can get there blog on there, but that is not the point ;)

Apparently, Twitter is the latest social network to not be able to make up it’s freaking mind.  This is good, because now that retention sucks for Twitter, there aren’t as many people to not know what the hell is going on.

Less than 24 hours after making a major change to the way that Twitter works, the company has reversed the change and thanked users for “helping us discover what’s important!” The new new policy may be just as confusing as the old new policy, but we offer a chart below explaining just how this all works.

Half the time I log into Twitter, a little bird tells me they suck and I should come back later.

I just left the airport on the way to the car and though, “I wish I had a quick way to view and post to my blog.” Just to make sure I loaded The App store, typed in WordPress. To my surprise there were a couple of apps, and a great one for even posting.
So I got a chance to type this, too bad it keeps crashing when I add a pic. Now off to drive!

So I actually had this blog running on a server here at the house. Which works fine most of the time, but today I actually had an article published on Slashdot. Even though it didn’t kill my connection, I realized since I own a hosting company on the side that I should at least put my sites on there. So if you have some weird loading errors, you might flush your DNS cache, it should be normal in 24 hours otherwise.

It is, and everything is back online.  So have fun, and maybe I will bring up some more stuff soon.  I have been thinking about hosting a Penetration Contest. So let me know your thoughts.
