Well can you believe it? Windows 7 actually shows up early with the Release Candidate. Microsoft just posted it for general public download here.

Everyone is jumping on the info that Microsoft posted that MSDN and TechNet people can download the RC of Windows 7 right now, and everyone else on May 5th. I can tell you it isn’t in there right now for the TechNet people, but hopefully by May 5th it will be. I have to admit, after running several betas of Windows 7, this is one release that I am excited about. Sure it still has a few bugs, but good enough to run on my desktop as my main OS. Of course I use my Mac laptop 90% of the time anyways, but who’s counting! ;)
